Inviting leads to the portal

Website, chat and form leads are invited automatically; you are asked about leads you add by hand, and imported leads are invited in bulk.

Leads from your website, chat and forms

A lead who arrives through your website, Genie Chat or one of your forms is invited automatically. The invite email welcomes them and carries a one-click sign-in link to their portal.

Leads you add by hand

When you add a lead yourself, GenieCRM™ asks whether to send the portal invite now. Choose to send it, or skip it and invite them later from the lead page.

Imported leads

Imported leads are never emailed on their own. Select them on the Leads list and use the bulk action to send portal invites when you are ready.

Seeing who has been invited

Each lead shows its portal status, and the Leads list can be filtered by it. See Portal status on a lead.
