Every lead in GenieCRM™ gets a client portal account automatically — whether the lead came from your website, a chat, a form, an import or was added by hand. The account is created quietly: it has no password, and nothing is sent to the client when it is made.

Why every lead has one

The portal is where you and your client talk privately, and where their saved homes, searches and alerts live. Because the account already exists, you can message any lead from their lead page straight away, and the conversation is waiting for them the first time they sign in.

What the client needs to do

Nothing, until they are invited. An invite carries a one-click sign-in link, so the client never has to choose a password to get in. See Inviting leads to the portal and One-click sign-in links.
