What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website and platform to function. They include WordPress session cookies (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*), security nonces, and preference flags. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use mlsgenie.com. These cookies collect anonymized data about page views, session duration, and traffic sources. You may opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by declining cookies in our banner.

Functional cookies

These cookies remember your preferences — such as your preferred language, dismissed notices, and UI state. They improve your experience but are not strictly required.

Third-party cookies

Some pages on mlsgenie.com embed content from third parties (such as Google Maps or demo booking tools). These third parties may set their own cookies, which are governed by their respective cookie policies.

Cookies on Subscriber sites

MLS Genie™ installations on Subscriber websites may use cookies for MLS search state, saved property lists, GeniePWA™ session management, and lead capture forms. Subscribers are responsible for their own cookie compliance disclosures to end users.

How to control cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, accept only certain cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of mlsgenie.com and MLS Genie™ installations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
