Brokerage footprints
Brokerages can lock multiple ZIP codes to cover a full footprint, and sub-assign protected ZIPs to agents. Our team markets exclusively for you across every locked ZIP.
At signup, your account manager confirms which ZIP codes you want to lock and their density-based pricing. Reserve as many as you need; the exact ZIPs and pricing go into your contract exactly as agreed.

A small number of early clients hold grandfathered territory arrangements that predate this model. Those agreements are honored contractually. All new service clients receive the ZIP-code model described on this page.

How does ZIP-code exclusivity work?
Exclusive Territory attaches to MLS Genie™ Managed — our done-for-you SEO and marketing services. You reserve one or more ZIP codes, and while your service contract is active our team will not run SEO or marketing for any competing agent in those ZIPs. It is written into your contract.
How much does it cost?
ZIP-code exclusivity is priced per ZIP by market density — from $495 per ZIP per month in lighter markets up to $995 in the densest. Volume discounts apply when you reserve multiple ZIPs.
Who can add it?
Any MLS Genie™ Managed SEO & marketing service client, on any platform tier. Brokerages can reserve multiple ZIP codes to cover a full footprint and sub-assign them to agents.
Can I lock more than one ZIP?
Yes. Reserve as many ZIP codes as you need; volume discounts apply as you add more. If adjacent ZIPs are still available, your account manager can add them to your contract.
What happens if I cancel?
If your Managed service contract ends, your ZIP-code exclusivity lapses and those ZIPs become available to other service clients. We will give you at least 7 days notice before a lapsed ZIP is offered to anyone else, so you have the option to reinstate and reclaim it. Your platform subscription, your WordPress site, and all your data are unaffected.
What if someone in my territory already inquired?
ZIP codes are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis. If you're a current service client and someone requests a ZIP you hold, your lock stands. If you're not yet a client, the best move is to act now.
Is this a legal contract?
Yes. The Exclusive Territory clause is part of your MLS Genie™ Managed service agreement. It is specific to the ZIP codes you reserve, and it is enforceable.
