Home screen install is supported on iOS 16.4 and later and all modern Android devices. Older iOS versions can still access your site normally via the browser — the install prompt requires iOS 16.4+.

Do my clients need to download anything from an app store?
No. Clients install GeniePWA™ directly from their browser by tapping "Add to Home Screen." There is no App Store or Google Play listing required. The app is downloaded directly from your domain.
What iOS and Android versions are supported?
GeniePWA™ requires iOS 16.4 or later for full PWA install support. Push notifications are on the roadmap. On Android, it works on all modern Chrome versions (Android 5+).
Does the PWA update automatically?
Yes. The service worker checks for updates in the background and installs them silently. Clients always have the latest version without needing to manually update.
Can I push notifications to clients through the PWA?
Push notification support is on the roadmap and is being built into GeniePWA™ as a native capability. When it launches, it will allow listing alerts, open house reminders, and market updates to be sent directly to clients' lock screens. Existing subscribers will receive this automatically — no reinstall required.
Is the app branded to my agency?
Yes. The app icon, splash screen, and name are all set to your agency branding. Clients see your brand — not MLS Genie™.
