What Ask Genie sees, and what it keeps

What goes with each question

• Your question and the conversation so far.
• A short summary of the screen you are on — the page, its tab, headings and the numbers shown.
• Your role, so answers fit what you can do.
• When it looks up leads, only the leads you are allowed to see.
• On your website: the page’s title and address. In Elementor: the page being edited, the element you have selected and the panel tab that is open.

How long a conversation lasts

The conversation is kept in your browser tab while you work. Closing the chat ends and clears it, and so does closing the tab.

The one time a conversation is kept

Most conversations are not stored anywhere. When an answer looks as though it went wrong, that one conversation is kept on your site for 30 days so the answer can be checked and corrected. Client names, email addresses and phone numbers are removed before it is saved, and it is deleted after 30 days.

Keys and connections

Answers come straight from MLS Genie’s servers to your browser, using a short-lived pass your site signs for each question, so your site is not kept busy while Genie writes. Lookups of your own data — leads and market numbers — are run by your site’s server, as you. Your licence key and AI credentials are never sent to your browser.
