Your MLS board connection is configured during the $4,995 onboarding process by the MLS Genie™ team. You do not need to set this up yourself. This article explains how the connection works and where to find your connection status.
How MLS Genie™ connects to your board
MLS Genie™ connects to your board through a standardised data feed that supports over 600 MLS boards across the United States. The connection is configured using credentials specific to your board. Your dedicated account manager handles this during onboarding.
Checking your connection status
Go to Settings → GenieScout in the CRM. The connection status panel shows whether your board is connected, the last successful import time, and the number of active listings in your database.
If the connection shows an error
MLS board credentials occasionally expire or change. If you see a connection error, contact your account manager immediately. Do not attempt to modify the credentials yourself — incorrect values can cause data loss.
