Opening the composer
In GenieCRM open Marketing › Social Manager and click New Post. Choose where it goes — each connected page or profile appears as a button under Post to.
Writing your post
Write the post once, or ask Genie to write it. Each destination gets its own tab, so you can change the words for one network without touching the others.
Sharing a listing
Paste a listing’s link into the post. Its main photo is offered straight away — click Use this image to attach it. Listing photos are sent to the network from your own site, so they attach whether or not the network could reach the photo itself.
Post now, schedule or save as a draft
Post Now sends it straight away. Schedule shows a day and a time, in 15-minute steps; the post goes out at that time on your site’s clock, whichever phone, tablet or computer you schedule it from, and times already gone today are greyed out. Save as draft keeps it without sending.
Editing a draft or scheduled post
Click Edit on a post that has not gone out. It opens as you left it — a draft as a draft, a scheduled post on its day and time, with its picture. Switch it between Post Now, Schedule and Save as draft before saving. On the Calendar tab you can drag a scheduled post to another day; it keeps its time.
Viewing posts
The Scheduled tab lists drafts and posts still to go out; Published lists what has gone. Filter either by network. The list opens straight away from the last copy your site kept and then brings itself up to date; Refresh fetches it fresh.
Deleting a post
Deleting a post that has not gone out cancels it. Deleting a published post also takes it down from Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business, Pinterest, YouTube and X. Instagram, TikTok and Threads do not allow posts to be removed from outside their own apps, so the confirm box says so, and afterwards you get a link to each one to delete it there.
If a network cannot be reached, the post stays in Social Manager and you are told which network, so you can try again.
