Building the form
Open the Genie Forms area in GenieCRM™ and create a new form. Drag fields from the palette — name, email, phone, property address, message, dropdown, checkbox, and text — into the layout, reorder them as needed, and mark each as required or optional.
The property address field
A property address field offers suggestions as the visitor types and stores the street, town, state and postcode separately once one is chosen. That is what lets a seller enquiry produce a valuation on the lead straight away, rather than depending on an address being readable somewhere in the message.
Showing a field only when it applies
Any field can be set to appear only when another answers a particular way — a property address that appears once someone picks “Seller”, for example. Hidden fields are not required and are not submitted, and the rule is checked again on the server so it holds however the form is reached.
Lead or email only
A dropdown can decide, answer by answer: “Selling my home” creates a lead recorded as a Seller, while “Vendor / services” only emails your team. Each lead answer can record a lead type. The form’s When no answer decides setting covers a form with no such dropdown, or one left blank — choose Email your team only for a general contact form.
Who a person is — Buyer, Seller, Just looking — is a separate, site-wide list in GenieCRM › Settings › Lead Types. A dropdown can use that list instead of answers of its own.
On-submit settings
Each form carries its own settings: the lead source recorded for attribution, an optional drip campaign to enroll new leads into, and the notification email address that receives an alert for every submission.
Placing the form
In Elementor or GenieBuilder, drop in the Genie Form widget and pick the form by name. Anywhere else, save the form and paste its shortcode into a page, post or text widget. Either way the form renders styled to your site and wired straight into the CRM.
Spam
Every form carries a hidden trap field, ignores anything submitted faster than a person could type it, and limits how often one visitor can submit. None of it asks your visitors to prove they are human. A submission caught by the trap or the timer creates no lead and sends no email, but is held on the submissions page for 30 days, so a real person caught by mistake can be found and marked Not spam.
