iHomefinder pricing, explained plainly
iHomefinder publishes no monthly price for any of its three tiers — it publishes capacities, add-ons and per-seat rates, and asks you to book a call. Here is what is actually on the record, what it implies for your budget, and how it compares to flat published pricing.
Quote-based pricing with published add-ons and capacities, against flat published plan prices. Neither approach is wrong — but only one lets you work out your cost before booking a call.
In short: you will not find an iHomefinder monthly plan price on their website. The pricing page compares Lead Essentials, Lead Maximizer and Growth Pro across features and capacity, then directs you to a 10-minute call, stating that plans vary by website setup, lead volume, team size and which marketing tools you use. Third-party sites quote figures that disagree with one another, so we do not repeat them. What iHomefinder does publish is the surrounding costs, and those are worth knowing before the call. MLS Genie™ publishes flat plan prices — Starter $195, Agent $495, Agent Pro $795, Team from $1,695 — so you can work out your number without one.

What iHomefinder publishes, and what it does not
Let us start with what is actually on the record, because a lot of pages about iHomefinder pricing state numbers with more confidence than the source supports. iHomefinder’s pricing page presents three tiers — Lead Essentials, Lead Maximizer and Growth Pro — with a detailed side-by-side of features and capacity, and no monthly price against any of them. The page says plainly that plans vary based on your website setup, lead volume, team size and which marketing tools you use, and invites a 10-minute call. Third-party sites quote several different starting figures that contradict one another. We have chosen not to repeat any of them, because we cannot verify them from the vendor.
We will not quote a number their own site does not.On sourcing
The costs that are published — and worth knowing first
The add-ons are on the record, and they matter, because they are where a quote can move. On Lead Essentials a hosted website is a $50/mo add-on with a $500 one-time setup fee; on Lead Maximizer and Growth Pro a website is included. Seller Leads, at 50 per month, is a published $50/mo add-on on the upper two tiers and is not available on Essentials. Extra MLS feeds run $25/mo for a single agent and $50/mo where there are two or more. Additional agent seats are published on a sliding scale, starting at $30/mo for a second agent on Essentials and falling to $5/mo once headcount is high. Go into the call knowing these.
Capacity is the thing that drives the tier
Read the published comparison as a capacity ladder, because that is what sets which tier you land on. Lead Essentials is one agent, one MLS feed and up to 1,000 leads — genuinely a solo-agent plan. Lead Maximizer moves to seven agents, two MLS feeds and 5,000 leads, and brings the premium custom website, AI-powered search, SEO, automated blogging and automated social posting with it. Growth Pro is ten agents, unlimited MLS feeds, 5,000 leads and beyond, priority support and concierge onboarding. If you are close to a boundary — an eighth agent, a second market — that is the detail to raise before you are quoted, not after.
Read the published comparison as a capacity ladder, because that is what sets which tier you land on.
How MLS Genie™ prices, and why
MLS Genie™ publishes flat plan prices: Starter $195/mo, Agent $495/mo, Agent Pro $795/mo, and Team from $1,695/mo, with the Team tier including 15 agents and additional agents at $95/mo. Add-ons are published too — Genie Chat $69, Property Intelligence $99, Reputation Manager $69, Social Manager $49, GenieLayers $149 — and onboarding is an optional one-time $495. You can total your own cost from that page without speaking to anyone. We price this way because the product ships the same way to every client, so there is nothing to negotiate and no reason to make you ask.
Comparing the two honestly
A fair comparison needs your quote, and we will not pretend otherwise. Get iHomefinder to price the same shape you would buy from us: the number of agents you actually have, every MLS feed you need, a website if you do not already have one, and whichever marketing tools you would use. Then set that total against the MLS Genie™ tier that covers the same ground. What the price does not capture on either side is where the listing data ends up — served from their servers, or stored in your own database — and that is worth weighing separately from the monthly figure.
A fair comparison needs your quote, and we will not pretend otherwise.
What iHomefinder does publish
- Long established and widely used — trading since 2001, with a WordPress plugin carrying more than 10,000 active installations and very broad MLS coverage across the United States and Canada.
- Their no-framing claim is accurate. IDX content is rendered and indexed on your own domain with no wrapper and no vendor subdomain, which is a genuine advantage over IDX products that frame or redirect.
- They hold the MLS data licence on your behalf, send you the required documents and submit your completed licensing paperwork to your MLS, so you are not applying for your own feed.
- Max is a real CRM — lead ratings, tasks, calendar sync, automated text and email campaigns, campaign assignment by lead source, automatic lead import from 30+ services, and a companion agent app.
What a quote-based model leaves open
- The IDX pages are virtual, in iHomefinder’s own term, and their content is fetched from iHomefinder when a page is served — so no listing record exists in your database.
- Their own support materials state that WordPress theme property search widgets may not be compatible, that making one work needs a developer writing custom code, and that they do not support that code.
- Because there is no listing record on your site, you cannot attach your own custom fields or taxonomy terms to a listing.
- Published listing refresh is every two hours for most MLSs, with 15-minute updates only on some.
- No monthly plan price is published for any tier, so a total cost comparison requires a sales call.

iHomefinder pricing – common questions
How much does iHomefinder cost per month?
iHomefinder does not publish a monthly plan price for Lead Essentials, Lead Maximizer or Growth Pro. Its pricing page shows the feature and capacity comparison and asks you to book a call, noting that plans vary by website setup, lead volume, team size and marketing tools. Various third-party sites quote different figures that do not agree with each other, so the only reliable number is the one in your written quote.
What does iHomefinder publish about pricing?
The add-ons and per-seat rates. A hosted website is a $50/mo add-on plus a $500 one-time setup on Lead Essentials, and is included on Lead Maximizer and Growth Pro. Seller Leads, at 50 per month, is a $50/mo add-on on the upper tiers. Extra MLS feeds are $25/mo for a single agent and $50/mo for two or more. Additional agent seats start at $30/mo and fall to $5/mo at higher headcounts. Confirm all of these with the vendor.
What capacity does each iHomefinder tier include?
Per its published comparison: Lead Essentials covers one agent, one MLS feed and up to 1,000 leads. Lead Maximizer covers up to seven agents, two MLS feeds and up to 5,000 leads, and includes a premium custom website, AI-powered search, SEO, automated blogging and automated social posting. Growth Pro includes ten agents, unlimited MLS feeds, 5,000+ leads, priority support and concierge onboarding.
Is MLS Genie cheaper than iHomefinder?
We cannot tell you, and neither can anyone else without your quote. MLS Genie™ publishes flat prices from $195/mo, so our number is knowable up front. iHomefinder’s is not published, so a like-for-like comparison requires you to get a quote for the same agent count, MLS feeds, website and marketing tools, then set the two totals side by side. That is the honest answer rather than a favourable guess.
Which model is better — published pricing or a quote?
Both are legitimate. Quote-based pricing suits a platform whose scope genuinely varies by client, and it lets a vendor tailor a package. Published pricing suits a product that ships the same way to everyone and lets you budget without a sales conversation. The practical difference is timing: with published prices you know before you talk to anyone, and with a quote you find out after.
Is MLS Genie the same as iHomefinder?
No. MLS Genie™ and iHomefinder are separate, unaffiliated products from different companies. iHomefinder, Inc has been trading since 2001 and sells hosted IDX search with the Max CRM, added to a website you already have. MLS Genie™ imports the MLS into a WordPress site you own as native content and adds a full CRM, marketing and client portal on top.
What is the core difference between MLS Genie and iHomefinder?
Where the listings are stored. iHomefinder renders IDX pages on your own domain with no framing, wrappers or subdomains, and its materials are accurate about that. But its own changelog calls those pages virtual, and its own support materials attribute page load time partly to the connection between your host and their servers — the listing content is fetched when the page is served, not held on your site. MLS Genie™ imports every listing into your own WordPress database as a standard post. The practical consequences are what your site can do with the listings, and what remains if you leave.
iHomefinder says its IDX is not an iframe or a subdomain. Is that true?
Yes, and it is worth saying plainly. iHomefinder does not frame listing content and does not send visitors to a vendor subdomain — the pages genuinely appear on your domain and are indexed there. That is a real advantage over IDX products that do frame or redirect, and we will not argue against it. The distinction we draw is a different one: rendering on your domain is not the same as being stored in your database.
Can my theme’s property search work with the listings?
With MLS Genie™, yes — listings are standard WordPress posts, so your theme’s own search, Elementor, the block editor and any plugin you install can query and filter them. With iHomefinder this is a documented limitation rather than our opinion: their own support materials state that WordPress theme property search widgets may not be compatible with Optima Express, that making one work requires a developer to write custom code, and that iHomefinder does not provide support for that code. They recommend using their own search widgets instead.
How often does each one update listings?
iHomefinder publishes its IDX data as updating every two hours for most MLSs, and as often as every 15 minutes for some. MLS Genie™ runs a 15-minute sweep on every connected board plus a nightly full sync, on every plan and every market. If listing freshness matters in a fast market, ask your prospective provider what the refresh interval is for your specific MLS.
What happens to my listing pages if I cancel?
With iHomefinder, the IDX pages stop working, because they are virtual pages whose content is fetched from iHomefinder when served. With MLS Genie™, your site, content, area pages, SEO equity, leads, contacts and property records all remain in your own database. We will not overclaim here: live MLS listing content comes off the site under either product, because MLS rules require its removal when the data licence ends. What differs is everything around the listings.
Who holds the MLS licence with each one?
Both hold it for you, and neither asks you to obtain your own data feed. iHomefinder sends you the required documents and submits your completed licensing paperwork to your MLS; MLS Genie™ does the same as the approved IDX vendor of record. You must be an active MLS member either way. This is a genuine point of similarity, and an advantage both products share over do-it-yourself import plugins.
Does iHomefinder have a real CRM?
Yes. Max includes lead ratings, task management, calendar sync, automated text and email follow-up campaigns, campaign assignment by lead source, and automatic lead import from more than 30 online services on the CRM plan, with a companion mobile app for agents. GenieCRM™ covers comparable ground and adds lead scoring, channel attribution, GeniePortal™, GenieCMA™ and commission management — and it runs inside your own site rather than in a hosted control panel.
Which one should I choose?
Choose iHomefinder if you want a long-established hosted platform with very broad MLS coverage and a capable CRM added to an existing site, and the listing data living on their servers is not a problem for you. Choose MLS Genie™ if you want the MLS imported into a database you own, listings your theme and page builders can actually query, and the platform built and run for you. Both hold the MLS licence on your behalf; they differ on where the listings sit.
Methodology & sourcing
How we compare: MLS Genie™ details are our own current product facts and published plan prices. iHomefinder details are taken from that company’s own published materials as of 27 August 2026 — its WordPress plugin listing and changelog, its platform pricing page, its WordPress plugin page, and its support knowledge base — together with third-party WordPress theme documentation describing what a theme can and cannot do with plugin-supplied IDX content. Where we describe how the IDX pages work, we use iHomefinder’s own wording: its changelog calls them virtual pages, and its support materials attribute page load time partly to the connection between the client’s host and iHomefinder’s servers. Where we describe the theme-search limitation, that is iHomefinder’s own published guidance, not our inference. iHomefinder publishes no monthly plan price for Lead Essentials, Lead Maximizer or Growth Pro; several third-party sites quote different starting figures that do not agree with one another, and we repeat none of them — the add-on, capacity and per-seat figures quoted here are the ones iHomefinder itself publishes, and all pricing should be confirmed with the vendor. “Not advertised” means a capability is not listed in their public materials, not that it is necessarily unavailable. This page is published by MLS Genie™, a competing product. We state plainly where iHomefinder’s own claims are accurate, including its no-framing approach and its handling of MLS licensing, and we do not use star ratings, aggregate review scores, or user complaints about individual releases. Always verify current features and pricing directly with each vendor before deciding.
