Your showings,
on the calendar you already check.
Agents live in Google Calendar. So showings and calls booked in GenieCRM™ land there automatically — on a separate calendar of their own, never mixed into personal appointments. Move one in Google and the CRM knows. Nothing you put on your own calendar is ever read back.
Google Calendar sync — how it works
Built into GenieCRM™. No Zapier, no third-party sync service, no per-seat calendar fee.
Each agent connects their own
There is no shared or team-wide calendar connection. Every agent links their own Google account from My Profile, in one click, and one agent connecting does not connect anyone else.
A separate calendar, not your main one
Appointments go to a calendar named MLS Genie, created when you connect. Colour it, hide it, or delete the whole thing — your own appointments are never touched.
Both directions
Book a showing in the CRM and it appears in Google. Drag it to a new time in Google, shorten it, or delete it — and the CRM task updates, usually within about fifteen minutes.
Your own appointments stay yours
Only appointments MLS Genie™ created are ever read back. Everything else on your calendar is read and ignored — a personal appointment never becomes a CRM record, and no broker sees it.
Real durations
Each task carries a duration, so a thirty-minute call and a two-hour open house block the right amount of time. Complete the task and the appointment comes off the calendar.
Your Google project, not ours
Every client gets their own Google Cloud project, so the consent screen shows their brand and their tokens are never pooled with anyone else’s. Credentials are never proxied through a shared app.
Book it once. Change it anywhere.
The part agents ask about: it is not a one-way push. Move an appointment in Google and the CRM follows.

Google Calendar sync questions answered
Does MLS Genie have a Google Calendar integration?
Yes. Two-way Google Calendar sync is built into GenieCRM™ and included from the Agent tier up. Each agent connects their own Google account from My Profile in the CRM.
Which appointments sync to my calendar?
Tasks of type Showing or Call that are assigned to you and have both a date and a time. Tasks with no time set do not sync — pushing them as all-day entries stacks them at the top of your week and makes the calendar harder to read, not easier.
Will it clutter my personal calendar?
No. Appointments are written to a separate calendar named MLS Genie that is created when you connect. Nothing is ever written to your primary calendar, so you can colour it separately, hide it, or delete the whole thing without touching your own appointments.
If I move a showing in Google, does the CRM know?
Yes. Move an appointment, change its length, or delete it in Google and the task updates in the CRM, usually within about fifteen minutes.
Can my broker or team lead see my personal appointments?
No. Only appointments MLS Genie™ created are ever read back. Everything else on your calendar — personal appointments, other calendars, anything you added yourself — is read and ignored, and never becomes a CRM record.
What happens if I disconnect?
The sync stops and the appointments already in your Google Calendar stay exactly where they are. If you remove access from inside your Google account instead, the CRM notices and asks you to reconnect.
Is there any setup?
One time, for the whole site, by a team admin: enable the Google Calendar API and register a redirect address in the site's own Google Cloud project. Agents then connect themselves in a click. Every client uses their own Google project rather than a shared app, so the consent screen shows their brand.
Which plans include Google Calendar sync?
Every tier from Agent up, at no extra cost. It is part of GenieCRM™, not an add-on.
