Pipeline stages and deal tracking

How to use the visual pipeline to track deals from first contact to close.

Understanding the pipeline

The pipeline gives you a visual Kanban board of every active lead, organised by stage. Drag cards between columns to advance a lead, or click a card to open the full lead detail record.

The six pipeline stages

The pipeline has six fixed stages in order: New Lead → Contacted → Nurturing → Hot → Under Contract → Closed. These stages are colour-coded — grey, blue, amber, red, purple, and green respectively — making it easy to see deal health at a glance.

Adding a lead to the pipeline

Open any lead record and click Add to Pipeline. The lead card appears in the New Lead column immediately. You can also drag it directly to a different starting stage if appropriate.

Moving leads between stages

Drag any card from one column to another. The stage change is saved immediately and recorded in the lead's activity log. You can also change the stage from the lead detail record using the stage selector.

Pipeline value display

The pipeline header displays the total estimated value of all active deals. This figure updates in real time as leads move through stages or are closed.
