Do my clients need to download anything from an app store?
No. Clients install GeniePWA™ directly from their browser by tapping "Add to Home Screen." There is no App Store or Google Play listing required. The app is downloaded directly from your domain.
What iOS and Android versions are supported?
GeniePWA™ requires iOS 16.4 or later for full PWA install support, which is also the minimum for push notifications on iPhone. On Android, it works on all modern Chrome versions (Android 5+), push included.
Does the PWA update automatically?
Yes. The service worker checks for updates in the background and installs them silently. Clients always have the latest version without needing to manually update.
Can I push notifications to clients through the PWA?
Yes. Genie Alerts sends listing alerts, open house reminders, and market updates straight to a client's lock screen, whether or not the app is open. Clients allow notifications once and control which categories they receive from their own preference centre. Delivery runs on the browser makers' own free services, so there is no per-notification charge and no notification vendor holding a list of your clients.
Is the app branded to my agency?
Yes. The app icon, splash screen, and name are all set to your agency branding. Clients see your brand — not MLS Genie™.
