Entering your API key
Go to MLS Genie™ → Settings → Connections in the WordPress admin. Find the GenieSocial™ section and enter your API key. The key is encrypted at rest immediately on save. Contact your account manager if you do not have an API key — it is provisioned as part of your subscription.
Profile key (optional)
Some features require a profile key in addition to the API key. If your account manager has provided a profile key, enter it in the second field in the same Connections section.
Verifying the connection
After saving your credentials, navigate to GenieSocial™ in the CRM. If the Posts tab loads and shows your connected accounts, the API key is working correctly. If you see a connection error, double-check that the key was copied correctly with no extra spaces.
Rotating your API key
If you need to update your API key, return to Settings → Connections and paste the new value. The old key is overwritten immediately on save.
