What you keep
Your domain, your hosting and your WordPress site — it stays online. Every page of content and the search rankings built on it, including area pages, market reports and blog posts. Every lead, contact, task, note and property record, in your own database and exportable whenever you want. Your theme, your media library and anything else you have installed.
What stops
The plugin is subscription-licensed, so GenieCRM™, GenieScout and the other modules stop running. Live MLS listing content comes off the site, and the MLS-connected features go with it — search, alerts and market data.
Listing content coming down is not our policy. MLS rules require it once a data licence ends, whoever stored the data, so no provider in this category can promise otherwise.
How the process runs
- You request it from inside the product. Settings, in your own dashboard. Your account manager is notified and nothing changes on your site until you confirm a date.
- Everything is exported first. Leads, contacts, property records, campaigns, saved searches and reporting data, in open formats. You can also take it directly through your host at any point.
- MLS content is removed on schedule. The removal runs in batches so your site stays up. Listing pages keep resolving rather than turning into errors, and your other content is untouched.
- We certify the removal to your MLS. A data removal certificate is produced and filed on your behalf.
- You choose where the site goes. Free migration to any host you name, or stay where you are. A listing identity map lets a replacement MLS feed repopulate the same URLs.
