Every team gets a #team-feed channel automatically, with all members included. It is the home for company-wide updates.
Private groups
Use the + button to create a private group and add members by name. Group conversations stay scoped to the people you add.
Direct messages
Send a one-to-one direct message to any teammate when a conversation does not belong in a channel.
