MLS Genie™ is a plugin on a WordPress site you own, at a domain registered to you, running on managed hosting included in your subscription. Cancelling switches the plugin off. The site stays up.
What stays
- The domain and the WordPress installation
- Every page you or we wrote — area guides, blog posts, landing pages
- The search rankings those pages have earned, at the same URLs
- Every lead, contact, note, task and deal record, in your own database
- Your photos, your branding, your forms
The hosting is your choice
Hosting is included in the subscription and provided by us, so when the subscription ends there are two options. Stay on our hosting and site management — the site does not move at all — on a standalone plan from $99/mo, priced to what the site actually needs. Or tell us where you want it and we move it there. The migration itself is free either way; what you are choosing between is who runs the server afterwards.
Why that is unusual
On a hosted platform the website is part of the subscription, so cancelling takes the site with it and you are handed a CSV of contacts. The rankings do not come with you, because they were never on your domain. That is the difference between renting the engine and renting the car.
