What happens to the MLS listings

They come down — and that is true of every IDX platform, not just ours.

Listings go dark

MLS listing content is licensed from the MLS, not owned by anyone. The licence runs through whoever holds the feed, so when the subscription ends the listing data comes off the site. That is a condition of every IDX licence in the country — it would happen on any platform you moved to, and it would happen if you moved to us.

Your pages do not go dark

The listing URLs, the area pages and the rankings stay exactly where they are. What empties is the MLS-sourced content inside them.

Refilling them later

We hand over a listing identity map — the parcel numbers and listing keys behind every page — so a replacement feed can refill the same URLs rather than creating new ones and starting the ranking clock again.

My team recently switched from CINC Pro to MLS Genie and I absolutely love it! MLS Genie is so much easier to use and less confusing!
