What is a Progressive Web App?
A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that can be installed on a phone's home screen and behaves like a native app — full screen, no browser chrome, with an app icon. No App Store submission, no approval process, and no separate codebase to maintain.
MLS Genie™ includes two PWAs
Genie PWA™ provides two separate installable apps:
- Genie CRM App — The CRM dashboard as an installable app for your agents. Fixed branding (Genie CRM icon and name). Agents install it once and get direct home-screen access to their tasks, leads, and pipeline.
- Your Site App — Your public IDX website as an installable app for buyers and sellers. Fully configurable name, short name, theme color, background color, and custom icon.
Google Login
Genie PWA™ also includes a Google Login option for the CRM app — agents can sign in to GenieCRM™ with their Google account instead of a username and password. This requires a Google OAuth client ID and secret configured in the PWA settings.
Device support
PWA installation is supported on iOS 16.4+ (Safari), Android (Chrome, Samsung Internet), and desktop Chrome and Edge.
