Drawing a search
A visitor draws a shape or a circle on the listings map and sees only what falls inside it. Buyers rarely think in cities or ZIP codes — they think in "walking distance to the lake" or "this side of the highway", and a drawn shape says that in a way a dropdown cannot.
What it works on
Drawn searches run against the live MLS data on your own site, and combine with the usual filters, so a shape plus three bedrooms plus a price ceiling is one search.
Saving one
A drawn search can be saved like any other, so new listings inside that shape trigger alerts as they arrive.
