How a visitor is recognised
A cookie is set on the visitor's first property page. It identifies the browser, not the person — there is no name attached to it until they choose to fill in a form.
Bots are ignored
Search engine crawlers and automated traffic are filtered out, so the history on a lead reflects a person rather than a robot.
How long it is kept
Records older than 90 days are removed automatically by a nightly cleanup.
Turning it off
Activity Tracker can be switched off entirely in the module settings. Existing leads keep the history already gathered.
